Epoxy resin, metal-filled. For quick repairs, e.g. to stone, hard plastic, torn threads and holes, cracks and holes in pumps and housings, containers, tanks, engines, boats and much more.
The epoxy putty is easy to use and specially designed for steel and metals: it hardens within a very short time and is as hard as metal as a result. It is very resilient and can be machined, e.g. drilled, sanded and milled. The putty is simply kneaded and can be modelled or filled.
APPLICATION:
The surface of the objects to be repaired must be clean and free of oil and grease. Roughen the surface to increase adhesion. Cut off the required amount of epoxy stick and knead for about 2 minutes until the compound has a uniform colour and the putty is warm. Then apply the epoxy compound to the area to be repaired and mould it.
If the surface is to be worked mechanically, wait about 25 - 30 minutes. Final hardness will be reached after 24 hours. Do not apply at ambient temperatures below 5° C.
