Primer 453, 15 ml in brush bottle

Increases the adhesion of difficult-to-bond materials.

By pretreating surfaces with 2Construct® Primer 453, it is possible to bond silicones, rubber, polyethylene, polypropylene, PTFE, polyolefins, EPDM and other difficult-to-bond materials. Without the primer, adhesion is very poor: 2C-Primer 453 prepares the surface, significantly increasing adhesion. The 2Construct® Primer is recommended for use with 2Construct® adhesives.

APPLICATION:

Apply a thin layer of the primer to the surfaces to be bonded in just one coat: Always apply the primer in the same direction, brush stroke for brush stroke, side by side. Avoid going over the same area twice with the brush. Leave the primer to dry for a few seconds. Then immediately apply the adhesive to one or both sides of the surfaces to be bonded. Press the parts together.

When bonding, always observe the processing instructions and the curing times of the adhesive you are using.
