In the video (click) we show you how you can use any carving tool in conjunction with the adapter on the PICCHIO.
The PICCHIO or some pneumatic hammers are great for working in wood. When carving end grain, for example, you can achieve very clean cuts without any effort. Apart from the gouges from MILANI, any carving tool can be converted with an adapter. The handle of the gouge is drilled with a Ø 8 mm hole and the adapter is hammered in firmly. With the PICCHIO, we recommend shortening the handle a little first so that the handpiece and handle have a more manageable overall length.
The adapter diameter to be selected depends on the pneumatic hammer in question:
PICCHIO 10.2 mm
Mini-PICCHIO 7.5 mm
Pneumatic hammers 10.2 mm or 12.5 mm depending on the shaft diameter
