Ideal for CUTURI pneumatic hammers. For connecting/disconnecting compressed air to/from the flexible compressed air hose. With 3/8'' x 3/8'' female thread on both sides.
CUTURI pneumatic hammers do not have a compressed air regulator. The installation of a ball valve allows the compressed air to be switched on and off near the pneumatic hammer without having to switch off the compressor.
To install a ball valve, cut the flexible compressed air hose in two at the end that will be connected to the CUTURI pneumatic hammer, about an arm's length from the end of the hose. Insert a screwed hose connector with a 3/8'' external thread (art. 258046823) into each of the two hose openings created in this way. Secure the screwed hose connectors with suitable hose clips. Screw the two hose ends to the ball valve using screwed hose connectors.
The ball valve can also be combined with an air flow control: The ball valve is then also used here to switch the compressed air on and off, while the air flow control regulates the amount of air arriving in the pneumatic hammer. The compressed air cannot be switched off completely with the air flow control! For this version, install the ball valve in a flexible compressed air hose with air flow control (item 258255000) as described above.
