The epoxy adhesive AKEPOX 3015 is characterised by very fast curing and fast load-bearing capacity due to high initial strength as well as extremely low shrinkage during curing and therefore minimal stresses in the adhesive layer.
The liquid adhesive AKEPOX 3015 Rapid Bond is characterised by excellent contact adhesion, especially on metal and silicate natural stone. Thanks to its rapid initial strength and high load-bearing capacity, it is ideal for doubling, assembly work and bonding profiles. For rigid bonding with high elasticity and toughness of the adhesive layer of natural stone, granite, marble, limestone, quartz composite, ceramic, artificial stone, terrazzo, glass/carbon fibre, metal, glass, wood, PVC, acrylic. Good adhesion to slightly damp stone. The product is not suitable for moisture-loaded bonding, groove reinforcement or bonding polyolefins (PE, PP), silicones, HFCs (Teflon), soft PVC, soft PU, butyl rubber. Low UV stability, only limited weather resistance of the bonds in outdoor areas. Good electrical insulating effect.
Easy and precise dosing and simple mixing thanks to the cartridge system. A suitable skeleton gun is required for application!
APPLICATION:
The bonding surfaces must be clean, dry, sound and roughened. Remove the cartridge cap, insert the cartridge into the gun, actuate the handle until material emerges from both openings, then attach the mixing nozzle if necessary. When using without mixing nozzle, both components must be mixed well.
Do not use at temperatures below 10° C, otherwise sufficient curing cannot take place. Adhesive that has already thickened or is gelling must no longer be used.
