The Contour Sander orbital sander from ARBORTECH was specially developed as an attachment for angle grinders for sanding concave free shapes in particular. Internal curves can be processed perfectly with the Contour Sander: The grinding wheels are very flexible at the edge and, in combination with the patented flexible backing pad, adapt perfectly to the shapes of the workpiece - without cutting in, leaving sanding marks or burning the wood.
The Contour Sander orbital sander is powerful and effective, and the grinding wheels have a long service life. Narrow, concave surfaces and complex shapes can be sanded very cleanly, quickly and easily. The oscillating movement releases much less dust than rotating grinding wheels. Even deep cavities can be easily reached with the 8 cm long shaft. When using the finest grit, the mini-eccentric sander ensures an exceptionally smooth finish. The wood surface can be finished directly, oiled, varnished or painted.
The Contour Sander orbital sander fits on any standard angle grinder (115 mm/125 mm) and on the ARBORTECH power carving unit.
