BALLISTOL Aluminium Burnishing is very easy to apply and burnishes to a rich black. BALLISTOL aluminium black oxidation for surface finishing is the first aluminium black oxidation approved not only for commercial users, but also for end users.

Easy to use even for non-professionals, the black brushed bluing for aluminium alloys is ideal for repairing forged modelling tools and rubbed areas and for re-bronzing e.g. complete smaller components or artistic objects, for scope mounting or hand protection on semi-automatic weapons. BALLISTOL aluminium bluing is abrasion-resistant and durable.

Consumption approx. 100 ml BALLISTOL Aluminium Burnishing per square metre of surface to be burnished. Aluminium and aluminium alloys are available in many different compositions. The black oxidation can therefore achieve different results. An overview of the effects that aluminium black oxidation can achieve can be found in the instructions for use.

APPLICATION:

Carefully degrease the metal surface to be black oxidised, e.g. with BALLISTOL Cold Degreaser. If necessary, the surface can also be lightly sanded. Apply the burnish evenly and leave to work for 20 - 30 seconds. Then dab dry and apply again. After 3 - 4 repetitions, rinse with water and finally preserve. Important: Do not use at temperatures below 20°C. The burnish can also be used as an immersion bath for the complete burnishing of objects.
