MORE INFO
Diamont splitting tool. With hammerhead. Length approx. 200 mm. With square handle 22 x 22 mm. For splitting stone, hard rock.
With extra strong carbide cutting edge with bevelled corners. The name Diamont refers to the high hardness of tungsten carbide, the material from which the tool cutting edges are made. Diamont tools do not contain any diamond.
Sculpting tools made of carbide or with carbide inserts are particularly suitable for working hard types of stone. Carbide tools need to be resharpened less frequently during work because the material is so strong that there is less abrasion than with tools made of forged steel. The carbide cutting edge therefore has a longer service life.
