Made from octagonal steel. For claw chisels, pickling, striking and cleaving-inserts made of forged steel. With mallet head. Length approx. 200 mm.
Claw-inserts and striking inserts can be easily replaced with this tool: The inserts can be used on both sides. The inserts are simply inserted into the claw-insert holder and are fixed in place automatically by striking the stone. If you want to loosen the claw chisel or chisel insert and turn it over, place the chisel on its side on a solid surface and let it protrude at the front. With targeted blows to the protruding insert, it will lever itself out of the chisel's socket.
We recommend this tool for soft sandstone, for example. As sandstone has an abrasive effect, sculpting tools can wear out more quickly. With the claw-insert holder, you do not have to replace the entire tool, but simply turn over or change the insert.
