Interchangeable insert for claw-insert holder and forged brick hammer made of forged steel.
Edging- and cleaving-inserts can also be easily used in wider chisel holders, e.g. combine two 40 mm chisel inserts in an 80 mm holder or one 15 mm and one 25 mm insert in a 40 mm holder.
Claw-inserts and impact inserts can be easily exchanged with this tool: The inserts can be used on both sides. The inserts are simply inserted into the claw-insert holder and are fixed in place automatically when the stone is struck. If you want to loosen the claw chisel or chisel insert and turn it over, place the chisel on its side on a solid surface and allow it to protrude at the front. With targeted blows to the protruding insert, it will lever itself out of the chisel holder.
We recommend claw-insert holders with interchangeable inserts, e.g. for soft sandstone. As sandstone has an abrasive effect, sculpting tools can wear out more quickly. With the claw-insert holder, you do not have to replace the entire tool, but simply turn over or change the insert.
