C14 Chip carving knife

Chip carving knife with long, straight cutting edge with narrow tip and slightly curved back for plane-like removal. Suitable for right-handed and left-handed users.

The versatile C14 wood carving knife is ideal for removing thin layers of wood, smoothing surfaces and backgrounds and removing the finest shavings. The knife blade is narrow and sharp. This means that even hard-to-reach areas can be worked out very well. The knife can be used to carve softwood as well as hardwood.

The blade of the chip carving knife is made of hardened steel with a high carbon content and is very well sharpened. The special knife steel is very durable and easy to resharpen. The comfortable ash wood handle is treated with natural linseed oil.
