Carving tools for carving spoons, bowls and kuksas. For general carving work and detailed carving.
The set contains two chip carving knives and a paring knife: The carving knives are used to remove a lot of material as well as to carve out fine and intricate details. When carving spoons and bowls, the chip carving knives are used to create and smooth the outer shape. The hollow of the spoon, bowl or kuksa is cut out with the spoon knife (hook knife).
The carving tools are made of durable carbon steel and are very sharp, so that both softwood and hardwood can be worked on easily. The ash wood handles are treated with linseed oil for durability.
With the leather strop and honing paste, the tool blades are maintained and kept razor sharp to guarantee perfect carving results.
