Ready-to-use liquid glaze. Firing range 1020° C - 1280° C. Glossy, semi-transparent. Suitable for Raku. Suitable for eating and drinking utensils. Tends to run.
Depending on the firing temperature, the liquid glaze PRO Citringelb shows a very beautiful surface, glassy and semi-transparent in a strong bright or pastel colour. With its wide firing range of 1020° to 1280° C, BOTZ PRO liquid glaze is suitable for both earthenware and stoneware. The glaze is ideal for tableware and perfect in combination with BOTZ Unidekor.
APPLICATION:
You have three firing options:
At approx. 1050° C: Apply glaze two to three times and fire. The result is a wonderfully colourful, almost opaque lemon-yellow shade.
At approx. 1150° C: Apply glaze twice and fire for a bright colour with a more semi-transparent surface.
At approx. 1250° C: Apply glaze twice and fire for a glassy, semi-transparent surface with intense pastel shades that also come out beautifully on porcelain bodies.
Caution: The glaze tends to run when applied thickly from a firing temperature of 1150° C!
The properties, appearance and application methods of the glazes mentioned here are without guarantee. Please be sure to observe the special manufacturer's instructions on the packaging! We always recommend carrying out test firings. This is the best way to see how the respective glazes come out on the clay you are using, with your application method and in your kiln.
