The liquid glaze PRO Peridot offers a warm, slightly yellowish green colour in a semi-transparent surface with fine brown specks. With its wide firing range of 1020° to 1280° C, BOTZ PRO liquid glaze is suitable for both earthenware and stoneware. The glaze is ideal for tableware. Depending on the firing temperature, the PRO Peridot liquid glaze has an almost opaque, semi-transparent or semi-transparent glazed effect.
APPLICATION:
You have three firing options:
At approx. 1050° C: Apply glaze two to three times and fire. The result is a wonderful, almost opaque green colour with natural brown dots.
At approx. 1150° C: Apply glaze twice and fire for a more semi-transparent, finely speckled surface.
At approx. 1250° C: Apply the glaze twice and fire for a glassy, semi-transparent surface with slightly more delicate dots.
Caution: The glaze tends to run when applied thickly from a firing temperature of 1150° C!
