Liquid stoneware glaze. Firing range 1220° - 1280° C. Glossy, opaque. Excellent for tableware and drinkware.
BOTZ Cream speckled stoneware is a glossy, opaque, cream-coloured stoneware glaze with small brown speckles. When applied very thinly, the glaze appears reddish-brown in colour.
APPLICATION:
Apply glaze 2 - 3 times. Allow to dry thoroughly before applying a new layer. The ideal firing temperature is 1250° C with a holding time of 30 minutes.
Due to the high firing temperature, stoneware ceramics are impermeable and cannot absorb water. This means that the clay and glaze are also frost-proof. BOTZ stoneware glazes are resistant to mechanical and chemical attack and are therefore very suitable for tableware and drinkware.
The stoneware glazes can be easily mixed and combined with each other.
All BOTZ liquid glazes are ready to use and easy to handle for both beginners and advanced users. BOTZ products do not require labelling, i.e. they do not contain lead or hazardous substances that require labelling. Unlike powder pigments, the liquid glazes do not create dust.
The properties, appearance and application methods of the glazes mentioned here are without guarantee. Please be sure to observe the special manufacturer's instructions on the packaging! We always recommend carrying out test firings. This is the best way to see how the respective glazes come out on the clay you are using, with your application method and in your kiln.
