Stoneware granite black 9888

Apply glaze 2 - 3 x (more likely 3 x). Allow to dry thoroughly before applying a new layer. The ideal firing temperature is 1250° C with a holding time of 30 minutes. The effects can be varied by changing the firing temperature:

1220° C: semi-gloss black glaze with small light-coloured deposits
1250° - 1280° C: semi-gloss black with light-coloured effects

Due to the high firing temperature, stoneware ceramics are impermeable and cannot absorb water. This means that the clay and glaze are also frost-proof. BOTZ stoneware glazes are resistant to mechanical and chemical attack and are therefore very suitable for tableware and drinkware.

The stoneware glazes can be easily mixed and combined with each other.
