Light-coloured calcium aluminate cement with min. 50 % Al2O3. Polishable. Suitable for exterior use.
The cement casting forms a smouldering casting skin if mixed sand is prevented from reaching the surface. CALIGHT 50 can be used to accelerate the setting speed of grey Portland cement, increasing the early strength at the same time.
CALIGHT 50 is produced on a rotary kiln from pure bauxite and limestone.
Processing instructions:
Add a maximum of three parts sand. Can be polished similar to a medium-hard limestone, possibly followed by waxing.

Blaine: approx. 3,800 - 4,000 cm2/g
Bulk density: approx. 3.0 g/cm
Compressive strength after 6 hours: 20 - 30 MPa
Compressive strength after 24 hours: 45 - 55 MPa
Compressive strength after 3 days: 60 - 70 MPa
Classification according to Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008: Not classified as hazardous according to GHS/CLP guidelines.
