Between Berlin and the Oderbruch, not only are boulders and erratic blocks collected and displayed, but artists are also given the opportunity to work on these erratic blocks or exhibit their own stone artworks. In addition to stone sculptures, the Lapidarium also features spring stones, fire erratic blocks, stone benches, stone tables, stone animals and much more on the 10,000 square metre site at Ruhlsdorfer Herrensee.
The hosts of the FINDLINGSHOF invite not only artists, but people of all ages to explore the life of stones.
The young moraine landscape of Märkische Schweiz is the result of the forces of the inland ice of the Weichsel glacial period, which covered large parts of the region until around 11,600 years ago. Hike, with a guide if you wish, to the magical places of power of the large boulders, springs, moors, lakes and ancient forests that were formed thousands of years ago. Discover your own power and creativity and process it in the stone you have found yourself.
