More casting compounds 

Ceramic casting compounds such as Artelin or Artestone from ARTIDEE are very easy to work with. They are solvent-free, toxicologically and physiologically safe. This means they are also ideally suitable for children. They can also be used very well for educational or therapeutic work. These casting resins are therefore an alternative to solvent-free acrylic casting resins , for example, which are very convenient and versatile to work with. Which casting material you choose naturally also depends entirely on what kind of project you want to realise with it.

With Artelin and Artestone, you will find casting compounds for individual requirements at bildhau: The Artelin casting compound for reliefs has a very high moulding accuracy, which is why it is particularly suitable for small, detailed models, reliefs, technical moulded parts or small figures. At the same time, Artelin hardens very quickly, so you can hold your demoulded objects in your hand after just 30 minutes. The Artestone casting compound also hardens very quickly and is particularly hard. It is also waterproof, weatherproof and weather-resistant. It is therefore ideal for objects that are to be placed outdoors.

Don't forget the release agent

Release agents are used during moulding to protect the original object or the starting material. They prevent the „model and moulding compound or mould (e.g. silicone mould) and casting compound or different mould parts from sticking together. This means that the casting mould is also protected from damage by the casting material. You use different release agents depending on the material of the model and the impression material as well as the casting mould and the casting material.
