PROCESSING
This soapstone can be worked very well with forged steel rasps and files. It can also be carefully worked with forged steel chisels with mallethead (point chisels, flat chisels and lettering chisels) and carver's mallet, hornbeam. Soapstone can also be shaped with (wooden) carving irons. Please note that you will not be able to use soapstone carving tools for woodworking afterwards.
Sculptures made of soapstone are suitable for indoor use.
