300 g/m². Glass fibre scrims for reinforcing and laminating acrylic resins and plastic concrete in particular. 1.10 m x 1 m or 1.10 m x 10 m.
The glass fibre scrim with its loose weave is particularly suitable as a reinforcing fibre for thicker resins, e.g. acrylic resins such as Acrylic One, Plasticrète and Jesmonite as well as plastic concrete. The nature of the weave enables a smooth flow of casting and laminating compounds. Thanks to its flexibility, the glass fibre fabric is easy to shape and drape.
The glass fibre fabric is suitable for reinforcing moulded parts and for laminating. Also suitable for polyester resins, epoxy resins and vinyl esters.
Classification according to Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008: The product is not classified as hazardous according to the GHS/CLP directives and does not require labelling.
Although the continuous glass fibres produced cannot be inhaled, they may cause temporary itching of the skin and mucous membranes due to the mechanical abrasive effect of the fibres. Under normal conditions of use, dust and non-respirable fibres (particles not otherwise regulated) may be released from these products. During heavy use (e.g. shredding, crushing), a very small amount of respirable particles may be released from these products, some of which are fibrous in the ratio l/d (so-called "shards").
