Fine, early sintering casting slip without fireclay, liquid, ready to use, stoneware quality. Fires light to beige-coloured. Clay body for the production of garden ceramics and crockery. Pouring bucket of 10 kg.
Due to the relatively early dense firing, energy consumption during firing can be minimised.
For casting objects and series in two-part or multi-part plaster casting moulds using the hollow casting or full casting method.
The plaster mould is completely filled with liquid clay, topping up with casting clay if necessary, as the plaster absorbs a lot of moisture. As the plaster removes the moisture from the clay, a solid layer of clay forms on the inside of the casting mould within a short time. For hollow casting, depending on the desired wall thickness of the clay, pour out the excess casting clay after a few minutes and allow the mould to drain. The clay object can then be carefully demoulded and fired later.
For the production of series, carefully clean the plaster mould with a sponge and brush and allow to dry before the next casting.
The casting clay 245 can be combined well with the moulding clay 245.
