Electric furnace (220 V) for melting and casting precious metals and alloys up to 1120° C.
The melting furnace from the Italian company GRAFICARBO has precise temperature control via a continuously adjustable electronic controller. The temperature in the furnace can be continuously monitored via the temperature display. The digital electric melting furnace is operated with 220 V.
According to bildhau's experience in bronze casting, the melting pot made of high-quality graphite is suitable for approx. 20 melting/casting processes before it needs to be replaced. Due to the high temperatures, the lid of the melting furnace must also be replaced after a certain time.
The manufacturer's information on capacity refers to the material gold. Metals and alloys have different densities, so that different weights may result in relation to the volume.
Included in the scope of delivery:
GF1100ND melting furnace
Graphite crucible
Crucible tongs

Safety note: Very hightemperatures are generated when melting and casting metals and alloys. Ensure that your workplace is suitable for the work and that fire safety regulations are observed. Ensure that you wear suitable protective clothing at all times! Make sure that no moisture can get into the molten metal and that all materials and tools aredry before they come into contact with the molten metal. Ensure that there is a suitable container under the furnace if molten metal needs to be collected.
