Combined sharpening block with 2 grits for coarse and fine sharpening of all carving tools. The diamond is mounted on stone. The stone lies securely on the work surface due to its high weight.
Diamond scraper blocks are very aggressive at the beginning and initially lose some of their grinding power, but are then very durable. They are particularly suitable for coarse grinding, e.g. if a cutting edge has nicks or is very blunt, so that you can usually get by without using a sanding machine. The bevel is smoothed with the finer diamond. We then recommend honing the ground cutting edge with a belgian coticule whetstone polygon.
