MORE INFO
The single-piece turned blades are beautifully shaped, light and easy to handle. The long handle enables different handling options: it is kept short for detailed work. For powerful blows, it is best gripped at the rear end, where the ball is moulded.
Wooden mallets in wood carving: Wooden mallets are suitable for working with all types of carving tools with a (wooden) handle.
Wooden mallets in stone carving: For chisels with a mallet head. The strike of a wooden mallet is significantly more damped and therefore gentler than a metal striking tool. Wooden mallets are therefore very suitable for working with soft stone, e.g. alabaster or soapstone, and stone with a soft bond, e.g. sandstone or soft limestone.
The chisel is oiled and is therefore very easy to maintain compared to lacquered chisels: you can simply freshen up the surface slightly with a little oil.
Total length approx. 27 cm.
