If you want to try your hand at soapstone for the first time on a manageable scale, we recommend this beginner's soapstone set - with stone, 2 tools, sandpaper and polishing oil for the surface treatment, you have the most important things together!
The soapstone kit BASIC plus consists of:
1 piece of Brazilian soapstone of approx. 2 - 3 kg
1 x cabinet rasp medium 15 cm from CORRADI
1 x riffler rasp stainless steel double-sided 18 cm
3 x sheets of sandpaper (1 x grit 120, 400, 1200 each) for dry and wet sanding
1 x 60 ml soap stone polishing oil
Stone is a natural product. We endeavour to reproduce the appearance of our sculpture stones as accurately as possible in the illustrations so that the character of the stone can be recognised. Ultimately, each stone is unique and the appearance may differ from the illustration.
