Klüpfel aus Kunststoff/Nylon sind besonders langlebig und unempfindlich gegenüber Nässe. Im Gegensatz zu Klüpfeln und Fäusteln aus Eisen oder Stahl ist der Bildhauer-Klüpfel aus Nylon schlagdämpfend und damit gelenkschonend beim Schlagen. Nylonklüpfel sind gut einsetzbar für weichere Bildhauersteine bis zu einem Mohs-Härtegrad von 2 - 2,5. Bei feineren Arbeiten eignet sich der Kunststoffklüpfel auch für Gestein bis zu einem Mohs-Härtegrad von 3 wie z.B. Marmor.
