Special hook-and-loop sanding disc with foam pad for high-gloss polishing.
Unlike other hook-and-loop sanding discs, the ABRALON padded polishing disc consists of three layers: an abrasive mesh, a foam centre and a backing with hook-and-loop adhesion. The foam pad allows the polishing disc to adapt perfectly to protrusions and indentations. ABRALON is suitable for finishing both surfaces and edges.
The foam has a pressure-equalising and water-absorbing effect, while the abrasive mesh is permeable to air and water. The innovative mesh structure of the abrasive allows water and air to move freely around the abrasive grains, which is why ABRALON enables virtually dust-free sanding.
ABRALON should normally be used wet. ABRALON can be washed out, does not clog and has a long service life.
Typical areas of application for this polishing disc are metal, high-gloss paints, solid surface materials and gel coats.
