Soft stones such as alabaster or soft types of wood can also be sanded quickly and excellently. With wood, you get a very smooth result with a fine gloss.
For virtually dust-free work in combination with extraction - MIRKA stands for innovations in the field of dust-free and therefore environmentally friendly and healthy working. With the ABRANET abrasives, MIRKA has developed very special products: Due to their mesh structure, the abrasives, in combination with air-permeable hook-and-loop backing-pads and an extraction system, allow almost dust-free work - when sanding with the machine as well as when sanding by hand! This prevents harmful dust from entering the room and breathing air in the first place.
