The foam pad with Velcro coating is simply clipped onto a Velcro sanding disc. This places the soft pad between the sanding pad and grinding wheel. The pad makes it easier to sand uneven and concave surfaces, as the hook-and-loop sanding disc can adapt much better to the shape and texture of your workpiece thanks to the flexible pad. Very suitable for the finest sanding work and contour sanding.
The soft backing also protects your hook and loop discs from damage, e.g. caused by heat, and against premature wear.
The soft pad is suitable for all rigid hook-and-loop discs in conjunction with hook-and-loop sanding discs. Thanks to the perforation of the support, it is also compatible with perforated grinding wheels and dust extraction systems. Also perfect for ABRANET abrasives.
