Modelling with clay, plasticine, wax

Modelling clays can vary in strength. They can be worked by hand and retain their shape. Some materials harden after processing, clay, can be air-dried, for example, but can also be fired. Wax becomes supple and malleable when worked by hand at body temperature. If it is too solid, you can also heat it for better modelling. If it cools down, it becomes hard again. Plasticine, on the other hand, retains its soft consistency and can be moulded again and again. All modelling clays can be worked with modelling tools as well as by hand. beech wood modelling stands, height adjustable and banding wheels are particularly practical as a workstation. For larger shapes, we recommend reinforcement with reinforcement bars or wire.
