Knives have been made in Mora, Sweden, for over 400 years. The story of MORAKNIV begins in 1891, when Frost-Erik Erson returned to his hometown in the Mora region after four years in North America: Frost-Erik Erson initially made tools for his own wooden sledge factory. However, knife production soon grew and Mora knives from Frost found their way all over the world. To this day, MORAKNIV stands for high-quality knives for construction and crafts, food processing and outdoor activities.
