This tool set was created in co-operation with the vocational school in Val Gardena in South Tyrol.
Gouges are versatile carving tools: they are used for carving wood, from removing a lot of material for the first rough shape to the fine finishing of details. You can use gouges to shape wood freely, carve out convexes and concaves and shape surfaces.gouges are available in straight, curved, offset and reverse offset shapes. PFEIL gouges are available in many cutting edge widths and with different stitches. The gouge edge 11 indicates the depth of the curvature of the gouge and is labelled with numbers - from 2, very flat irons, to 11, strongly curved irons.
