MORE INFO
Tungsten carbide (carbide pitcher) with hammerhead for granite processing. Length approx. 190 mm. For chiselling stone and carving out edges and corners.
The carbide plate is deeply embedded in the steel body of the forged pitcher, enabling multiple resharpening and ensuring a long tool life. If one edge of the tool has become blunt, the tool can simply be turned and the other edge used. The tool should always be used with the entire width of the cutting surface if possible.
The REBIT tools from the Norwegian company MONARK originally come from the mining industry and have therefore been developed for the toughest requirements in stone processing. The carbide is of exceptional quality and the overall finish is extremely durable. The tools formerly developed by EPIROC are still produced in Sweden. We recommend the tools for use in granite and other hard stone.
Please note: We are convinced of the REBIT tools and would like to offer our customers the widest possible selection of these special tools. However, it is not possible for us to have all tools in stock at all times. We therefore ask for your understanding in the event of longer delivery times.
Information on carbide tools:
Sculpting tools made of carbide or with carbide inserts are particularly suitable for processing hard types of stone. Carbide tools need to be resharpened less frequently during work, as the material is so strong that there is less abrasion than with tools made of forged steel. The carbide cutting edge therefore has a longer service life.
