Two- or three-row carbide (tungsten carbide) claw chisel for granite processing. With shank Ø 12.5 x 55 mm. Length approx. 200 mm, weight approx. 200 g.
The claw chisel is similar to a bush hammering chisel. The teeth are arranged in 2 or 3 rows of 5 teeth each and are slightly inclined towards the outer edge.
The REBIT tools from the Norwegian company MONARK originally come from the mining industry and have therefore been developed for the toughest requirements in stone working. The carbide is of exceptional quality and the overall finish is extremely durable. The tools formerly developed by EPIROC are still produced in Sweden. We recommend the tools for use in granite and other hard stone.
Please note: We are convinced of the REBIT tools and would like to offer our customers the widest possible selection of these special tools. However, it is not possible for us to have all tools in stock at all times. We therefore ask for your understanding in the event of longer delivery times.
Information on carbide tools:
Sculpting tools made of carbide or with carbide inserts are particularly suitable for processing hard types of stone. Carbide tools need to be resharpened less frequently during work, as the material is so strong that there is less abrasion than with tools made of forged steel. The carbide cutting edge therefore has a longer service life.
