Wax emulsion. Contains solvent. For separating epoxy and polyurethane casting resins.
Release agent based on high-melting waxes and aliphatic hydrocarbons. Fast drying. Particularly suitable as a release agent when moulding master models with epoxy resin or polyurethane (PU). If it is not clearly recognisable that the surface of the master model is solvent-resistant, please test the compatibility in an inconspicuous place before applying a large area. For separating silicone on silicone. For protecting silicone moulds when casting with epoxy resin or polyurethane.
Application:
Shake well before use to homogenise waxes and solvents.
First treat porous surfaces with an impregnating agent (e.g. PVA) to close the pores. No pre-treatment is required for non-absorbent surfaces such as metal, glass or ceramic resins.
Apply two to three coats of PST-4 with a brush and allow to dry for 2 - 3 minutes after each coat. For even distribution of the release agent and to remove any brush marks, carefully polish the wax layer with a soft cloth or a soft brush. For a shiny surface, polish before the wax emulsion is completely dry. For very detailed original models, make sure that the wax emulsion does not cover any details. Alternatively, use a spray (e.g. Universal Release Wax Spray Z 25 LE).
Product properties:
Drying time: 2 - 3 minutes
