Set of sharpening and honing stones, 3 pieces

Ideal sharpening set for almost all carving and gouge tools in various shapes.

The large honing stone made of aluminium oxide is sharp and quick to use. It combines two grit sizes and is handy to use. Dimensions 150 x 50 x 25 mm, grit 360 (fine) and grit 1000 (very fine).

The medium-sized fine honing stone made of aluminium oxide enables very fine grinding thanks to micro grinding crystals. The shape is rounded on both sides and is suitable for honing the inside of gouges. Dimensions 70 x 50 x 8/2 mm, grit 1000.

The profiled natural Arkansas is particularly suitable for finishing the inner surfaces of carving tools. Dimensions 60 x 25 x 5 mm.

The honing stones can be used with water or oil. After using oil, however, further use with water is no longer possible.

The Arkansas honing stone is an oil stone. Before using the sharpening or honing stone, lightly wet the stone with honing oil.

To maintain your oil sharpening or honing stones after use, rub the oil residue off the sharpening stone with a cloth to remove any metal residue. Then moisten the sharpening stone with some fresh oil before packing it away.
