With its extra fine blade, the Japanese pull saw with classic wood/bamboo handle enables very fine and precise cuts in wood and veneer with particularly low material removal. It is equally suitable for cross cuts and rip cuts. Saw blade partially laser-hardened and polished. The saw teeth are not set, i.e. the width of the cut corresponds to the blade thickness.
Japanese pull saw (Nokogiri) of the Dozuki type. Dozuki saws have a particularly thin blade with teeth on one side for very fine and precise cuts. The back of the blade is reinforced with steel so that the saw blade cannot twist. The Dozuki is therefore particularly suitable for fine detail work. Its cutting depth is limited due to the steel back. Dozuki saws are generally designed for cross cuts due to their fine teeth, but longitudinal cuts are also possible.
