KJ-45 centering knife jig for knives

Device for sharpening almost all knives with a blade length of at least 60 mm, a blade width of at least 12 mm and a blade thickness of up to 10 mm, for conically ground knives up to 6 mm. For longer knives with stiff blades and straight drawshaves. Can be combined with other devices for very small or very wide and flexible blades. Suitable for TORMEK T-8, T-4 and older models.

The KJ-45 centering knife jig centres the knife so that maximum symmetry can be achieved when sharpening, even with conically ground blades.

The KJ-45 with 45 mm wide holder can be used to sharpen a wide range of knives and blades: Craft knives, household knives, chef's knives, hunting and fishing knives, draw shaves, short shaving blades or those with a convex edge, garden shears. An additional stop on the device ensures that even very wide blades such as kitchen cleavers can be sharpened.

For sharpening smaller knives, the KJ-45 can be combined with the SVM-00 holder for small knives. For sharpening very wide blades or tools, the device can be combined with the US-430 extended universal support.

The KJ-140 wide centring device for knives is best suited for knives with long and flexible blades. This stabilises the flexible blade to achieve a symmetrical sharpening result.
