TORMEK original sharpening stones combine various sharpening properties in a single stone. This sets them apart from other grindstones: Due to the special composition of the stone, the TORMEK SP-650 stone grader can be used to change the surface of the grindstone with a 220 grit so that the surface is given a fineness that corresponds to a 1000 grit. This is very practical, as the setting of the sharpening device that was previously used can also be retained for fine grinding.

If grinding marks appear on the grindstone over time, the TORMEK original grindstones can be dressed with the TORMEK TT-50 turning and dressing tool to restore a perfectly even surface. The top layer of the grindstone can be removed with the device to perfectly round the shape again. The surface of the grindstone is then particularly rough and can be used very well for more aggressive sharpening.
