Innovation from Australia

The company ARBORTECH was founded in the south-west of Australia in 1988 and has now been based in Perth for many years. ARBORTECH founder Kevin Inkster's own enthusiasm for working with wood led him to develop innovative tools, especially for freehand woodworking, that were previously unheard of. The aim is to make work easier, safer and simply more fun – bildhau was impressed by the concept and added ARBORTECH woodworking tools to its range a few years ago.

Powerful chip removal for large wooden sculptures

With the ARBORTECH tools, large wooden sculptures can be created effortlessly, saving the labour-intensive rough work with Carving tools and Mallets . Both the WOODCARVER milling disc and the TURBOPlane disc work easily and safely into the wood without catching. The TURBOPlane enables a clean and controlled surface finish that comes close to working with a gouge.

Helpful tools for detailed work

ARBORTECH has also developed solutions for small angles, corners and details: The TURBOPlane and WOODCARVER milling discs are also available with a small diameter, for example. With the Mini Grinder or the TURBOShaft, you can also reach deep places.
