Modelling woods for clay, wax & plasticine
.Modelling woods are, as the name suggests, modelling tools made of wood. They are often used as modelling tools for clay. Even with a small set of different modelling woods, you have an inexpensive assortment of tools for diverse shaping and designing. A very special modelling wood is the sculptor's thumb: it actually resembles the shape of a thumb, but is easy on the hands when modelling with, for example, high fireclay.
