Two-component silicone with polyaddition cross-linking. Component A + component B. High flowability. Extremely high tensile and tear strength. For the production of flexible moulds with high detail accuracy.
HT33 silicone is chemically resistant to aggressive components of certain types of resin - it is therefore very suitable for moulds that are to be filled with cement-bonded materials such as concrete or cast stone, as well as ceramic materials, plaster, wax, polyurethane and acrylic plastics.
The silicone HT33 has a high degree of accuracy due to its special flowability, so that even very fine details can be reproduced. It is therefore also very suitable for jewellery production. Other properties include dimensional stability, very good temperature and ageing resistance and excellent non-stick properties.
PROCESSING:
We recommend shaking or stirring both component A (silicone) and component B (silicone crosslinker) well before mixing (avoid the formation of bubbles as far as possible). For portioning, use a different dispensing tool for each component so as not to activate a premature reaction. Weigh component A and component B exactly (the reaction behaviour does not change within an error range of approx. 5 %). Mix component A and component B very thoroughly in a mixing ratio of 1:1 (by weight), preferably using an electric stirrer at a low setting (to largely avoid the formation of air bubbles). Vulcanisation takes place at room temperature (23° C). The curing time is reduced at a significantly higher room temperature and extended at a significantly lower temperature.
