We recommend practice
We at bildhau are sculptors, artists, stonemasons and cabinetmakers.
We support you
in your project
It's important to us that you receive exactly the tools and materials you need for your art project from us.
We have everything under one roof
From us you will find tools and materials for stone and wood carving, modelling, moulding, casting and most importantly for the workshop and studio.
We like high-quality tools
That's why we only offer tools that we have tested and approved ourselves, as with our own KAPRA brand.
We have fun with the materials, which we sell
- because they're worth something. Good material is, along with good tools, the alpha and omega of artistic work. Just ask us!
Sculpture is close to our hearts
For the sculptor, the choice of the right material for the work is as decisive as the choice of the right tool for working it. We at bildhau do not see ourselves simply as a specialist shop for sculpting supplies: Here, sculptors and craftsmen advise colleagues. It is our concern to supply the optimal sculpting tool of high quality for every artistic idea in wood or stone, the suitable stone, a good piece of carving wood. And of course we are very familiar with modelling materials, moulding compounds and casting materials. From our own work we also know what is important in the sculptor's studio and workshop. Once the sculpture or object is finished, we at bildhau naturally also have pedestals and columns to present your work.
Sculpture means giving form
Sculpture means giving form, modelling, shaping - in the fine arts, in art education or art therapy as well as in crafts. Sculpture means working with a wide variety of materials, with wood or stone, with clay, plaster or concrete, plastics or metal, but also with many other materials from nature and everyday life. There are no limits to the artistic means and the development of the work is a very individual process. Sculptural works are among the earliest objects in art history. In the same way, sculptures, sculptures, objects or installations have their place in contemporary art. Those who have discovered sculpture for themselves know how fulfilling working with their hands can be and how gratifying it is when an idea slowly takes shape - in whatever material. Trying out something new is just as exciting as drawing on the accumulated experience of many years. Sculpting is dangerous - because once you're caught up in it, it may never let you go!
