Choosing the right beech wood modelling stand, height adjustable

When deciding on a beech wood modelling stand, there are various factors to consider: Does the beech wood modelling stand, height adjustable have good stability? A rotating disc, a so-called banding wheel, is helpful if you want to work on a fixed table or on a beech wood modelling stand whose work surface cannot be rotated. If you are modelling on a banding wheel, you can easily shape your workpiece from all sides without having to constantly move your sculpture itself – this can save you from easily damaging and deforming your work.

In the bildhau range you will find banding wheels for various requirements: e.g. a simple modelling wheel made of veneered MDF for lighter sculptures and almost all requirements; a lightweight banding wheel made of aluminium, which does not rust and whose rotating mechanism runs very smoothly, even for heavier sculptures; a cast iron or steel banding wheel, which is heavier and more stable, the rotating mechanism is ball-bearing mounted – both result in the rotary impulse remaining effective for longer. This disc is also particularly suitable for ceramists.

Banding wheels are slowly rotating discs and are usually operated by hand. They are mainly used for modelling techniques. Electrically or mechanically operated potter's wheels are fast-rotating discs that are mainly used to make vessels – the technique of raising is used here in particular.
