Modelling wax and pourable microcrystalline wax for sculptures and models

Wax as a modelling or casting material is a classic among sculpting materials. Wax is primarily used to model sculptures and to produce models for bronze casting using the lost wax process. The size and type of the planned work and the working conditions in the studio can place different demands on the wax: For example, it must be harder or softer, react quickly or slowly to heat and cold, be pigmentable, etc.

bildhau offers paraffin-based modelling wax with various melting and hardening properties and different colours, as well as pourable microcrystalline wax. Many types of wax can be combined with each other so that the properties can be precisely adjusted.
