Fillers for Synthetic resins, Silicone, Plaster & Cement, Paints

With fillers you can thicken synthetic resins to be able to apply them with a spatula or to work vertically with the masses. You can use fillers to make silicone moulds more stable so that they are less sensitive to pressure, but also less pliable. Or you can make your objects and moulds made of plaster, cement or synthetic resins lighter. Also pigments belong to the fillers, but you will find them in a separate section.

If you mix metal powder as a filler with synthetic resins, you can produce objects and sculptures in the so-called cold casting process that look very similar to a real metal casting, but are very easy to produce without having to laboriously handle molten metals. Cold-cast objects can even be ground and patinated.
