Hardener for polyester casting resin 26/71 and polyester gelcoat.
APPLICATION:
Add between 0.2 % and 2.5 % hardener (by volume). The mixing ratio depends on the quantity of the preparation. Dose quantities carefully, use a pipette or disposable syringe for the hardener, for example. Adding a larger quantity of hardener accelerates setting, but also increases the resulting reaction temperature.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
For polyester casting resin 26/71:
Pot life (at 25° C): 4.5 - 6.5 minutes
Exothermic peak: 155° - 175° C
Demoulding time: 14 - 18 minutes
Shrinkage after curing: 8.1 % (with the addition of 2 % MEK peroxide hardener)
For polyester gelcoat:
Pot life (200 g at 25° C): 20 - 30 minutes
Exothermic peak: 130° C
Demoulding time: 60 minutes
The product is subject to labelling according to GHS/CLP guidelines. Labelling according to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008:
