Easily mouldable modelling wax in slightly harder quality.
All modelling waxes can be mixed with each other. The black modelling wax can be made even harder in combination with the pourable microcrystalline wax.
Our tip:
The black wax is easy to work with using a cheese slicer. To make it easier to shape, it can also be heated before modelling.

Solidification point: 60° - 66°C
Flash point: > 190°C
Needle penetration at 25°C: 55 - 65 dmm
Viscosity at 100°C: 8 - 13 mPa.s
We recommend modelling tools such as modelling irons, spatulas and loop tools made of steel or stainless steel, as these can be easily heated. This allows very precise work and easy moulding.
The black modelling wax is supplied in sheets. The dimensions of a slab are approx. 30 cm x 45 cm x 1.5 cm. The wax slabs vary slightly in thickness and are therefore charged according to their actual weight.
The sheets are individually wrapped in foil so that they can be easily removed from each other. If you require larger quantities of wax plates that are not individually packaged, please contact us. We will then make you an attractive offer.
