Comprehensive 25-piece woodcarving set with carving tools in a sturdy wooden case made of beech wood.

This tool set was developed in co-operation with the Brienz School of Woodcarving. With this selection, more demanding carving work can be carried out.

Gouges are versatile carving tools: When carving wood, they are used for everything from removing a lot of material for the first rough shape to the fine finishing of details. You can use gouges to shape wood freely, carve out convexes and concaves and shape surfaces.gouges are available in straight, curved, offset and reverse offset shapes. PFEIL gouges are available in many cutting edge widths and with different stitches. The gouge edge 11 indicates the depth of the curvature of the gouge and is labelled with numbers - from 2, very flat irons, to 11, strongly curved irons.
